The San Diego Museum of Man features a wild arrangement of topics and exhibits, ranging from monsters, the relationships between animals and man, to research about cannibalism. Founded in 1944, the museum has a long history of research concerning the Americas and the Panama Canal, including different civilizations and cultures in these areas. About the San Diego Museum of Man
Located in Balboa Park in San Diego, the hours of operation of the San Diego Museum of Man are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday. The buildings that the museum is located in is a historical artifact in itself. Build in 1915 for the Panama Exposition; the museum was designed by Bertram Goodhue with a blend of styles and cultures into the building, to represent a variety of styles expressed by humanity throughout history. Large archways attached to the buildings from the Plaza de California, and nearby the St. Francis Chapel and the Spanish Style Alter provide beautiful landmarks for anyone visiting the museum to see!

Admission for adults ages 18 into the San Diego Museum of man is $13. Senior citizens, members of the military, students with an ID, and persons between the ages of 6 and 17 can all be admitted for $10. Children under the age of 5 are permitted inside for free, as well as Members of the San Diego Museum of Man.
